The President of Menoufia University receives the President of Ain Shams University

Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, received Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University and Professor of Surgery, on the sidelines of his visit to the National Liver Institute as a discussion from abroad for a PhD thesis at the Institute.
 
Mubarak welcomed the President of Ain Shams University in the campus of Menoufia University and in the National Liver Institute, the distinguished medical edifice at the level of Egypt and the Arab world, which provides many medical services to serve the Egyptian patient with liver disease, and is one of the most important institutes that played a role in combating Hepatitis C through the 100 initiative. Million Seha, and one of the largest institutes that participated in the presidential initiatives for the treatment of liver patients and liver transplantation.
 
After the meeting, the President of Ain Shams University went to the National Liver Institute to discuss the doctoral thesis submitted by researcher Morsy Kamal Mohamed Abdo entitled: “The use of indocyanine green to assess the functional liver reserve for patients with cirrhosis before performing surgery to remove part of the liver for patients with liver cancer” under the supervision of Dr. Amr Ahmed Mostafa, Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery at the Institute, Dr. Hossam El-Din Mohamed Soliman, Professor of Surgery, Dr. Mohamed Taha Badawy, Dr. Ahmed Nabil Salam are two assistant professors in the Department of Surgery, and Dr. Marwa Lotfy Helal, teacher of biochemistry and biological biology at the Institute.
 
The judging and discussion committee includes Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University and Professor of Surgery, Dr. Osama Hegazy Abdel Salam, Professor of Surgery at the Institute.
 
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the University.
