Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held several leadership positions at the university, the last of which was the position of Vice President for Postgraduate Studies before assuming the position of President of the University. He is one of the most famous and skilled surgical oncologists in Egypt. 2001, and he was appointed as a supervisor of the paid treatment unit in university hospitals starting in 2008, until he held the position of head of the central administration of Menoufia University Hospitals in 2009. He also held the position of head of the general surgery department at the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University in 2011. And in December of the year 2013 He was elected Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors as the first elected dean in the history of the college. Then the republican decision was issued appointing him as Vice President of Menoufia University for Postgraduate Studies and Research in January 2015 and he held the position for eight years, until the decision of His Excellency the President of the Republic was issued appointing him as President of Menoufia University in January 2023, and he has many scientific researches published in international scientific magazines and supervised me Many scientific research papers for researchers in various Egyptian universities to obtain master's and doctoral degrees

El-Kasid also has many interests in voluntary work through membership in the Board of Directors of the Association of Surgeons, a founding member and vice-president of the Egyptian Society for Surgical Oncology, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in England, and also a founding member of the Egyptian Society of Head and Neck Surgeons, and the Society of Modern Surgery, and Member of the European Society of Surgical Oncology.
