Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, conducted an inspection tour of the university land allocated for expansions in Sadat City, covering an area of 200 acres. This visit reflects the university administration’s commitment to closely monitor construction and expansion projects, ensuring their implementation according to the highest standards, reviewing the current progress of ongoing works, and planning for the completion of the project in the upcoming period. He was accompanied by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Mrs. Souad Bayoumi, and several deans of faculties.
During the tour, the University President inspected the construction of the perimeter wall surrounding the land to assess progress and ensure adherence to the scheduled timeline, stressing the importance of completing the work on time in preparation for the next phases of development on the site.
Prof. El-Kased emphasized that these expansions represent an important step toward supporting the state’s vision for establishing new universities and developing educational infrastructure, which contributes to accommodating the increasing number of students and providing modern academic programs that meet labor market demands.
He further explained that the future vision for this site in Sadat City aims to create a comprehensive university community, including new faculties and modern academic programs in fields aligned with both local and international labor market needs, in addition to establishing advanced research centers to support innovation and entrepreneurship. The plan also includes the creation of an international university and service areas, providing a fully integrated and sustainable educational environment, while enhancing the university’s role in community service and active participation in the state’s comprehensive development plans.
Prof. El-Kased noted that the site in Sadat City is considered a promising strategic location due to the city’s developmental and industrial potential, affirming that the university seeks to establish advanced educational and research facilities on this land to serve the residents of Menoufia Governorate and neighboring provinces.
He also directed strict adherence to the highest quality standards in executing the works and continuous coordination among relevant authorities to ensure rapid completion, confirming that the university remains committed to implementing its ambitious plans for expansion and development to strengthen its academic and research standing.
