Mr. Hassan Abdallah, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, honored the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at Menoufia University on the sidelines of the Seamless Africa conference, for a group of students of the faculty won fourth place in the (FinYology) competition organized by the Central Bank of Egypt in the field of promising applications in the field of entrepreneurship in financial technology projects for publishing digital financial transformation applications, and the certificate of honor was received by Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf, project supervisor and dean of the college.
It is worth noting that Menoufia University, headed by Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, is the only public university that qualified among the top ten projects submitted in the competition, and the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence is the only faculty that submitted projects for first and second level students in the faculty, while other colleges submitted student graduation projects. College students qualified after passing three qualifiers that qualified them for the higher level.
The winning students of the project from the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence received training at the Central Bank of Egypt and the Banking Institute for the purpose of employment upon graduation, in addition to adopting their project to convert it into an application with an investment return. The second is the Department of Intelligent Systems, Rahma Muhammad Muhammad Mahmoud, the first level, the Department of Machine Intelligence, Nada Medhat Jalal Youssef, the second level, the Department of Cybersecurity, Farah Muhammad Ali Abu Al-Azm, the second level, the Department of Cybersecurity, Heba Atef Muhammad Tolan, the second level, the Department of Intelligent Systems.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, expressed his happiness with this achievement, congratulating the students under the supervision of Dr. Osama Abdel-Raouf, Dean of the Faculty, pointing to the importance of encouraging students to participate in next year’s competitions, forming groups, and communicating to hold brainstorming sessions to select new ideas for projects.
