Today, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Research Account Unit online via electronic platforms, with the participation of committee members.
The committee approved the minutes of the previous session and discussed any further work.
During the meeting, Al-Kasid announced an increase in supporting scientific research and experiments items in some faculties to meet the requirements of researchers in the departments.
The university president emphasized the need to follow up the implementation of research plans in the university's faculties to meet the various challenges facing the Egyptian society in the economic, social, health and environmental fields, and to activate the role of scientific research in facing society's problems and the state's development plan.
The destination also directed the colleges to make applied projects that have an actual applied return to serve the research process and students at the university.
