Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received the delegation of the Sudanese-Egyptian Integration Center, in the presence of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
The visit comes within the framework of examining aspects of cooperation between Egyptian educational institutions and Sudanese universities, to develop solutions and foundations for the enrollment of Sudanese students residing in Egypt in Egyptian universities to study in light of the current conditions that their country is going through.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the center's delegation and emphasized that Menoufia University opens its doors to Sudanese students and welcomes them to study in its faculties and Menoufia National University as postgraduate students.
The university president indicated that the university is ready to cooperate with Sudanese universities to receive students to study through the legal frameworks and rules governing the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Dr. Adel Abdel Aziz Al-Faki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sudanese-Egyptian Integration Center, explained that the visit is within the framework of strengthening relations between Egyptian universities and Sudanese universities within the framework of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation also praised Menoufia University, whose faculties teach dozens of Sudanese who now occupy high academic and executive positions in Sudan.
The delegation also included Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Othman, Director General of the Sudanese-Egyptian Integration Center, Dr. Abdel Rahman Karam El-Din, Director of Nyala Technical College, Dr. Othman Hassan Othman, representative of the University of Expatriates.
