Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participated in the activities of the Conference for Excellence in Scientific Research entitled “The Future of Knowledge Production in Egypt”, which is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the auspices and presence of Dr. Regis Al-Massa in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of a group of leaders of the Ministry and universities, and Egyptian scholars included in the international list of Stanford.
El-Kased explained that the conference witnessed an opening speech by Dr. Maguy Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission, in which she welcomed the attendees. Then, the Minister of Higher Education opened the activities and talked about the Ministry's vision of the scientific research map in Egypt and the importance of expanding in the fields of invention, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research also met After the meeting, a scientific symposium aimed at doubling the number of Egyptian scientists on the Stanford list in the future, expanding the circle of local and international scientific cooperation for Egyptian scientists, activating their cooperation mechanisms with production and industry centers, and presenting Fulbright opportunities to travel to the United States of America and hosting American experts from a team Commission.
The university president added that the conference also witnessed panel discussions in various fields of scientific research.
A delegation of 20 faculty members participated in the conference activities, including Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Ghada Ali Hassan, International Relations Office, and Dr. Maha Tony, Coordinator of the Research Innovation Office.
