Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Hatem Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Dr. Hamdy Moussa, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, participated in the qualifying stage of the Egyptian Programming Competition "89 teams" from the various faculties of Menoufia University They are (Faculty of Computing and Information, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering), where the Arab Software Competition was held at the Maritime Academy of Science and Technology in Alexandria, where each team consists of 3 students, under the supervision of Dr. Amira Abdel-Aty.

It is worth noting that the number of participating students from the Faculty of Computers and Information is 129 students, and from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf 50 students, and from the Faculty of Intelligence 19 students, and from the Faculty of Science 7 students, and from the Faculty of Engineering two students, and 6 teams of participants were recruited from the faculties of the University Menoufia: Computers and Information, Electronic Engineering, and Engineering) to represent Menoufia University in the qualifiers at the level of Egyptian universities in the Arab Software Competition ECPC held at the Naval Academy in Alexandria today.
