Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, confirmed the readiness of the university’s colleges to receive students and start the 2023-2024 academic year, noting that all measures have been taken to ensure the regularity of the educational process.
The university president added that maintenance work has been completed and the auditoriums, classrooms, laboratories and university cities have been prepared for the start of studies, explaining that all safety and security standards have been taken in all university facilities, to ensure the provision of a safe educational environment for students while taking all precautionary measures to prevent crowding and periodic sterilization and cleaning for safety. Students and faculty members.
The intendant also directed the necessity of the commitment of faculty members and supporting staff to be present on campus from the first day of study, pointing out that the study schedules were announced before the start of the new academic year, to ensure the regularity of study in all colleges.
He stressed the necessity of providing all means of comfort to students and meeting their needs while providing them with a family environment and encouraging them to succeed and excel.
El-Kased pointed out that executive plans have been developed for cultural, artistic and sporting activities to develop students’ skills in all fields, in addition to organizing field visits to major national projects implemented by the state in various sectors.
The University President also emphasized the preparation of many cultural seminars and workshops aimed at developing students’ national awareness and combating abnormal concepts and ideas. He also directed that the university and students’ efforts be increased in eradicating illiteracy in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education, and the participation of students in integrated convoys organized by the university and initiatives. The university president added that it was confirmed that the cities were prepared to receive students and that periodic maintenance work was completed in all university city units, including electricity, carpentry, plumbing, and painting of the various city rooms, in addition to assigning all specialists and supervisors in all restaurants to be permanently present and prepare the restaurants in preparation for the start of study.
El-Kased also stressed the readiness of university hospitals and the General Administration of Medical Affairs to provide distinguished medical service to students, and the presence of faculty members, doctors and workers and their readiness to receive any emergency or sick cases with the start of the new academic year.
