Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held an expanded meeting to discuss ways to increase and activate the services provided by the Faculty of Dentistry to advance the educational process, health care, and community service, and to make the most of the college’s potential.

In the presence of Dr. Salah Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Muhammad Al-Nomani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Muhammad Sabry, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Ashraf Medhat, Director General of Medical Administration, Accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary-General of the University, Wafa Azab, Assistant Secretary-General of the University, and Safaa Al-Dahshan, Director-General of Faculty Affairs.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that the meeting discussed setting a financial and administrative regulation for the outpatient clinics at the College of Dentistry, in addition to setting a regulation for paid treatment at the College, and operating the latest cone-beam CT scan device to diagnose dental, facial and maxillofacial diseases.


El-Kased added that during the meeting, a mechanism was discussed to develop a mechanism to receive and treat cases of maxillofacial tumors and surgeries, and congenital defects of the face and jaws, in cooperation with the College of Dentistry, the College of Medicine, and faculty members in the departments of plastic surgery, oncology, pediatric surgery, and nuclear and radiation oncology.


El-Kased explained that the establishment of outpatient clinics comes within the framework of the university’s belief in the importance of providing distinguished health care to the people of the governorate and the university’s role in training dentistry students and doctors, noting that the clinics will provide a distinguished group of therapeutic and preventive services and also provide surgical treatments for oral and dental conditions that require intervention. Such as tooth extraction and dental implants.
