Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, met with the Board of Directors of the Center for Strategic Studies and Leadership Development in the presence of the board members, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Mohamed Wahdan, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Mr. Islam Omar Al-Fishawy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sadat City, a member of the board from abroad, to follow up on the progress of work at the center and discuss the development proposal submitted by the Board of Directors.

The President of the University began the meeting by congratulating the newly appointed members of the Board of Directors: Dr. Farhat Abdel Sayed, General Supervisor of the Center, Dr. Wafaa Basyouni, Technical Supervisor of the Strategic Studies Department, Dr. Samar Shaeer, Technical Supervisor of the Training and Leadership Development Department, Dr. Musa Atlam, Technical Supervisor of the Consulting and Research Department, Dr. Ahmed Refaei, Technical Supervisor of the Performance Development Department, in the presence of Ms. Miral Gawish, Director General of the Center, stressing the important role of the Center for Strategic Studies and its status as a house of expertise serving the university and society.

The President of the University discussed the agenda and reviewed the proposed plans submitted by the General Supervisor of the Center to develop the activities provided by the Center, the most important of which are providing strategic consultations and studies, feasibility studies for various projects, research and advisory services to official, governmental and private bodies and institutions, in addition to organizing courses and events related to development and various community issues, specialized training courses to serve some of the university's departments and units, and contributing to spreading strategic thinking to serve the university's vision and mission.

The university president also discussed proposals to form a working team of university specialists from faculty members and assistant staff, and to communicate with foreign institutions, companies, banks, and various civil society institutions to develop cooperation protocols in various fields and to discuss ways of joint cooperation.
