Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced the qualification of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Menoufia University among the top ten faculties at the university level for the field visits stage within the Egypt Award for Government Excellence (the Distinguished Institutions Award, Government Colleges category).

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, said that the Faculty of Pharmacy at Menoufia University is one of the distinguished faculties, which contributed to its qualification to the stage of the top 10 faculties at the level of Egyptian universities for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence for the field visits stage, among 326 faculties nominated for the Distinguished Institution Award, Government Colleges category.
The university president also stressed that the Faculty of Pharmacy has distinguished human and logistical cadres that contribute to achieving the sustainable development strategy and Egypt's Vision 2030 and achieving the award's goals in terms of enhancing the spirit of competitiveness and the culture of excellence at the level of government institutions and reflecting its impact on the citizen and improving the level of services and commitment to quality and excellence standards while creating a qualitative shift in institutional performance and developing human capabilities to keep pace with developments and modernity within the college and university. Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs and Head of the Permanent Committee for Activating Government Excellence Practices at the University, added that Menoufia University has a distinguished work file for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, which contributed to qualifying the Faculty of Pharmacy for the field visits stage and that the university is keen to develop performance within the colleges and enhance its role in society, believing that its role is not limited to the field of education and scientific research, but it is considered centers of excellence and knowledge and preparing distinguished cadres to lead the future of Egypt, which is consistent with the criteria of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence. Menoufia University has held a number of interactive workshops to enhance and qualify colleges to be nominated for the top ten colleges for government excellence and provide all available capabilities to develop the skills and capabilities of those in charge of government excellence files in colleges, and provide them with various practices that help develop and improve college files and create a spirit of friendship among all team members. This is under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Radwan, General Coordinator of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence and Dr. Noha Othman, Deputy General Coordinator at the University.
