President of Menoufia University announces Menoufia University joining the second batch of the Egypt Pioneers and Scientists Program

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced the approval of Menoufia University's request to join the Egypt Pioneers and Scientists Program "second batch", noting that the grants include several fields "water, energy, agriculture, climate change, nursing, tourism, heritage, industry, trade and business, logistics, supply chains, public health, media, engineering, computers, artificial intelligence, and science", as these programs include many initiatives to enhance interaction between students and decision-makers in society, and motivate them to participate effectively in serving society and developing the environment.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased explained that the "Egyptian Pioneers and Scientists" program is implemented by the American University in Cairo, the Centers of Excellence Program for Agriculture and Water, and the University Scholarships Program, while AMIDEAST implements the Government Scholarships Program, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the support of the United States Agency for International Development. University students are selected from all governorates of Egypt, with a focus on promoting diversity, equality, inclusion, and the integration of women and people with disabilities.

El-Kased stressed Menoufia University's keenness to seek these training grants, pointing out the importance of these programs in providing distinguished educational opportunities for students, facilitating their access to various skills through participation in training and camps that qualify them for the labor market, and helping them achieve their academic and professional ambitions, in addition to supporting innovation and scientific research and providing a stimulating educational environment that encourages creativity and keeping pace with modern technologies, in addition to the contribution of these programs in building a new generation of leaders who can face contemporary challenges and contribute to the renaissance of society and achieving the goals of sustainable development 2030, and applying the principles of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Dr. Ghada Ali Hassan, Executive Coordinator of the International Relations Office at the University, added that the final list of entities that have completed the form has been announced on the portal of the Egyptian Pioneers and Scientists Program, including Menoufia University. The next stage will include completing application forms from individuals from the university interested in joining the program. She also stressed the importance of the presence of Menoufia University students and researchers in the global educational and research arena.
