Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and the supervision of Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the General Administration of Student Care, in cooperation with the Military Education Department at the university, organized a field visit for 35 male and female students from the university's faculties to Silofoods Food Industries Complex in Sadat City.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the importance of these specialized visits for students to introduce them to the extent of progress in the food industries and the extent of their development and Egypt's keeping pace with everything that is modern and to see modern technologies for food manufacturing in Egypt, which is witnessing a remarkable development in the era of the new republic under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari also stressed the importance of introducing students to Egyptian industries and Egyptian products and the importance of linking university education to the labor market and training. He stressed the university's support for such visits that aim to increase students' awareness and provide them with the opportunity for practical training.
The university delegation was received by Major General Akram Abdel Jalil Al-Hafnawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who gave a comprehensive explanation of all the services of the Silofoods Food Industries Complex.
The students were accompanied during the tour by Major General Dr. Hamdi Tawfiq Saada, where they visited the pasta factory of all kinds and listened to a comprehensive explanation of the production stages. They also saw the quality, insurance, cleanliness and precautionary measures followed. They also visited the biscuit factory and the complex's printing press, and saw the extent of development and the use of the latest advanced means in applying the highest levels of prevention, safety and cleanliness. The students also visited the complex's facilities, which include a private hotel, a mosque, an ambulance unit, a fire unit, maintenance workshops, warehouses, stores, a factory for halva and tahini products, and a factory for dairy products of various kinds.
The students expressed their happiness at visiting these giant industrial fortresses that call for pride and pride in the homeland.
