Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Menoufia University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, organized the five-a-side football competitions for students as part of the activities of the Sectors League "Seventh Sector" in the covered hall of the General Administration of Student Care at the university. Under the supervision of Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased announced that Menoufia University won first place in the five-a-side football tournament in the Sectors League.

El-Kased praised the distinguished performance of the university team and the sportsmanship among the participating teams, stressing that student activities contribute to enhancing young people's confidence in themselves, their abilities and capabilities and providing them with the opportunity to exploit their energy and invest it in a positive way, in addition to refining their leadership and behavioral abilities and raising the spirit of honorable competition among them. The President of the University also congratulated the winning team and those in charge of the tournament.

For his part, Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President of the University, expressed his happiness with this great achievement of the university team and winning the title of the Seventh Sector League in light of the strong and enthusiastic competition between the participating universities.

The Menoufia University team defeated its counterpart, Horus University team 0/2 in the semi-final match, and the Menoufia University team defeated Tanta University team 1/2 in the final match, so Menoufia University won first place and the gold medal.

The events were supervised by Captain Yasser Gamal, Director of the Sports Activities Department at the University, Captain Moataz Sadek, the Activity Officer, Captain Khaled Talaba, and Captain Wessal Al-Qat, Supervisors of the General Administration of Sports Activities.

The Faculty of Nursing represented Menoufia University in the Sectors League at the republic level under the supervision of Dr. Amal Shehata, Dean of the Faculty, and deservedly won first place and the championship cup after winning the final match against Tanta University.

The Menoufia University team included students Ahmed Aqila, Mohamed Kamal, Mohamed Amara, Mohamed Magdy, Ibrahim Abu Shenishen, Qutb Emad, Ahmed Ashour, Ziad Ahmed, and Ibrahim Fathy, under the supervision of Ahmed Al-Sakhawi, Director of Student Care Department at the Faculty of Nursing, Tarek Al-Akhnawi, and Afef Motawea.
