Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the development and construction works at the medical complex, as well as the progress of work at the university hospitals, accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University. They were received by Dr. Mohamed El-Naamani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Rania Azmy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Fotouh, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies, Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Executive Director, Dr. Ahmed Sabry, Deputy Executive Director, and Eng. Rabab El-Daly, Director General of Engineering Affairs.

The President of the University conducted an extensive field tour of the medical complex and university hospitals to follow up on the new constructions and updates, in addition to following up on the regularity of the health service provided to visitors to university hospitals.

The university president began his tour by inspecting the expansion site of the Oncology Institute, where the design consulting offices and companies have been qualified to implement the building, in addition to inspecting the site of the Specialized Surgery Hospital project on the land of the Medical City, which will be established on an area of ​​10 acres after taking the necessary measures to purchase 5 new acres.

El-Kased also inspected the final preparations for the new outpatient clinic building at the Faculty of Medicine in preparation for its opening and entry into service soon, consisting of 5 floors and including 56 clinics that will be equipped with the latest devices according to medical standards and quality standards with the aim of providing a designated place for visitors to outpatient clinics away from the emergency hospital in order to provide all medical specialties for patients, as the building also includes a laboratory for analysis, CT scans, regular scans, endoscopy and audiology units, in addition to contributing to the implementation of the presidential initiatives related to the health sector, which are launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to improve health and treatment care for citizens.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased inspected the Faculty of Dentistry and its outpatient clinics on the ground floor, where the installation and operation of 34 clinics equipped with dental chairs were completed, and he followed up on the completion of the finishing works of the general site and the painting of the facades and entrances.

El-Kased followed up on the development works of the main entrance to the Faculty of Medicine, and the procedures for supplying and installing two additional elevators for the faculty.

The President of the University was also keen to follow up on the progress of work at the Emergency Hospital, and inspected the laboratories, diagnostic devices, X-ray devices, living rooms and observations, praising the development witnessed by university hospitals
