Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, confirmed that the university has prepared to receive about 90,000 male and female students in the university's faculties during the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025, according to the specified time plan, and within the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as the second semester officially begins on Saturday, February 8, 2025, and studies continue for 16 weeks until Thursday, May 29, 2025, and the second semester exams will be held during June 2025, according to the nature of the study and tests in each faculty.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased added that the university has taken the necessary measures to ensure the provision of an advanced educational environment that enhances the students' academic experience, noting that all faculties have announced the study schedules for the second semester, and students have been notified of them through the official websites of the faculties and their pages on social media, in addition to completing all the required preparations to start studying, in addition to updating the question banks for the faculties and completing the training plan for faculty members on e-learning platforms.
The envoy pointed out that the university carried out periodic maintenance work during the mid-year break for buildings, lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories, to ensure their efficiency and readiness to receive students. Urgent maintenance was also carried out for the facilities of the university cities in its various branches, including the attached restaurants and food departments, to ensure the provision of a suitable accommodation environment for expatriate students, who began receiving them in the cities yesterday, Friday, February 7, 2025, with the provision of security and cleaning services around the clock.
The university president explained that plans have been put in place to implement cultural activities and events and awareness seminars, in addition to organizing various competitions and encouraging innovative students and those with distinguished talents, with the aim of supporting various student activities.
El-Kased stressed the importance of continuous communication between faculty members and students to solve any problems that may arise during the semester, ensuring the regularity of the educational process, stressing that the university always keeps the interest of the university student in mind, and works hard to provide the necessary means of support and care, and harness all available capabilities to ensure the provision of the best educational services to students, and provide a stimulating and supportive academic environment for excellence and creativity, with its full commitment to creating the appropriate atmosphere to help students succeed and excel, stressing the commitment to occupational health and safety procedures within the university, completing comprehensive insurance of facilities, and placing guidance signs to ensure the proper organization of entry and exit processes.
