Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, today received a delegation from the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination prior to the "Build Your Awareness" educational symposium on youth and national security. The delegation included Representative Alaa Mustafa, member of the Senate, representing the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination; Representative Iman El-Alfy, member of the House of Representatives, representing the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination; Hossam Hefny, member of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination; and Engineer Ahmed Sabry, member of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary-General of the University.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the university guests. The university president praised the pioneering role of the Coordination Committee members as the first pioneering youth dialogue platform that brought together a spectrum of political movements under one umbrella, giving youth a voice. This is in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to promote and train youth, youth leaders, and women to assume various positions and participate in decision-making.
The university president also praised the symposium's objectives, which included clarifying the concept of national security and its various dimensions in protecting the state, highlighting the connection between the Palestinian cause and Egyptian national security, and rejecting displacement plans. The symposium also highlighted the dangers of rumors and misleading propaganda on social media, and presented the efforts of the Egyptian state and its political leadership in confronting internal and external challenges.
The delegation of members of the Coordination Committee of Youth Parties and Politicians also expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by Menoufia University in improving health services in the governorate and its prominent role in implementing presidential initiatives, in addition to its role in serving the community and spreading culture and awareness.
