Menoufia University President Honors Director of Military Education Department for Promoting Students’ Loyalty and Belonging

Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Nasser Abdelbary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, honored Brigadier General Mostafa Akid, Director of the University’s Military Education Department, in recognition of his outstanding efforts in fostering students’ loyalty and sense of belonging, as well as his active role in organizing and supervising military education courses and associated activities.

The ceremony was attended by University Secretary Dr. Ikrami Gamal and Dr. Omar Turki, Legal Advisor to the President.

Dr. El-Kased emphasized that this recognition reflects the university’s appreciation for the national and educational role of the Military Education Department in instilling values of patriotism and pride in national identity among students, raising their awareness of the country’s challenges, and organizing educational programs, field visits, and awareness seminars linked to national occasions. These initiatives help students understand the efforts of the state and armed forces in protecting national security and stability.

He added that the university is committed to supporting military education activities and providing all necessary resources to ensure their success, highlighting their significant role in developing well-rounded student personalities and strengthening national loyalty.

Brigadier General Mostafa Akid expressed his gratitude for the recognition, thanking the university leadership, particularly Dr. Ahmed El-Kased and Dr. Nasser Abdelbary, for their continuous support and constructive cooperation, which have contributed to the success of the military education programs. He affirmed his commitment to continue working as a team to serve students and the nation.

Additionally, Saeed Mohamed Hassan, Secretary of the Military Education Department, was also honored.
