As part of its commitment to promoting a culture of quality and strengthening institutional development across its faculties, Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received a delegation from the Faculty of Commerce at his office. During the meeting, he honored the faculty and presented it with two ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018, in recognition of its excellence in applying quality standards and achieving comprehensive administrative and academic performance.

During the meeting, Prof. El-Kased expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing that the Faculty of Commerce’s ISO certifications represent the culmination of the university’s efforts to support institutional development and adopt comprehensive quality standards across its faculties.

He noted that the university is steadily advancing toward building a modern educational system founded on competence, excellence, and innovation, contributing to the enhancement of educational quality and the services provided to students.

Prof. El-Kased highlighted that this success reflects the Faculty of Commerce’s commitment to developing its educational and administrative environment in line with international standards. It also strengthens Menoufia University’s position among its Egyptian and regional peers. He affirmed that the university will spare no effort in supporting the implementation of quality systems and continuous development in all its faculties and institutes.

During the award ceremony, Prof. El-Kased honored the faculty and its team. Prof. Mohamed Wahdan, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, received the ISO certificates from representatives of the awarding organization, QME, in the presence of:

• Eng. Abdo Saad El-Din El-Sayed Mostafa – Chairman and General Manager of the Arab Company for Engineering Consultations and Systems.

• Dr. Mohamed Amin Mohamed Abdel-Hakem Dawood – Company Consultant and Project Manager.

• Eng. Hossam El-Garhy – Representative of the awarding organization.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Alaa Redwan, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty, ISO auditors, department representatives, and staff of the quality assurance unit, who played a key role in implementing continuous improvement systems within the faculty.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. El-Kased emphasized that Menoufia University seeks to expand the experience of obtaining ISO certifications across its faculties in the coming period, as part of a comprehensive strategic plan aimed at enhancing administrative and academic performance and ensuring the quality of educational and research services provided to society.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce expressed his sincere gratitude to the university president for his continuous support and close oversight of the faculty’s development efforts, stressing that this achievement represents a new milestone in strengthening the faculty’s position locally and internationally and motivates continued work to improve academic performance and develop the teaching and learning environment in line with the state’s vision of building distinguished university institutions.
