Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, extended his sincere congratulations to Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the ministry’s leadership, and all its staff, on the occasion of the ministry receiving the Certified Government Innovative Organization (CGInO) certificate with a five-star rating from the Global Innovation Institute (GInI)—the highest level of international accreditation in institutional innovation.

Prof. El-Kased emphasized that this significant achievement reflects the vision of the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, toward building modern governmental institutions based on creativity, digital transformation, and future-oriented strategies, moving away from traditional administrative models, and enhancing Egypt’s global position in excellence and innovation.

He noted that the ministry’s attainment of this prestigious accreditation was no coincidence, but rather the culmination of conscious institutional efforts and ambitious strategic plans that successfully fostered a work environment encouraging innovation and translating creative ideas into practical projects that support development and create added value for society.

Prof. El-Kased highlighted that this international recognition serves as a strong incentive for all Egyptian universities to continue promoting a culture of innovation within higher education, encouraging students and researchers toward creativity and entrepreneurship, and enhancing institutional performance in line with global standards of excellence.

He also extended his regards to the team of the Institutional Innovation Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, affirming that this achievement represents a shining milestone in Egypt’s record of excellence and a significant step toward building an innovative and sustainable educational and research system that meets the aspirations of the New Republic.
