Within the framework of the QS Higher Education Summit Asia 2025 held at Korea University in Seoul, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, met with delegations from various international universities participating in the exhibition held alongside the summit, to explore opportunities for joint cooperation and exchange of academic and scientific expertise.

During the meetings, Prof. El-Kased emphasized Menoufia University’s commitment to enhancing international partnerships and expanding collaboration with prestigious global universities in education, scientific research, and student training, contributing to Egypt’s strategic direction under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to broaden international educational partnerships and improve the global ranking of Egyptian universities.

The discussions also addressed academic and research exchange programs, as well as the potential signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with several participating Asian universities, thereby strengthening Menoufia University’s position at the regional and international levels.

Prof. El-Kased presented the university’s strategic plan and future vision, which aim to achieve excellence in education, research, and community service. He highlighted the university’s ongoing efforts to develop its academic programs according to international standards, support innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhance digital transformation across academic and administrative sectors, aligning with the national higher education strategy and Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development.

He expressed his pleasure in participating in the summit, praising the level of organization and the discussions on the future of higher education in Asia and globally, emphasizing the role of digital transformation and innovation in university development. Prof. El-Kased described the summit as an important international platform for exchanging visions and expertise among university leaders and opening new avenues for academic and research cooperation. He also noted that Egypt’s strong participation this year reflects the tangible progress and qualitative shift taking place in the country’s higher education sector under the support of national leadership.

In conclusion, Prof. El-Kased commended the role of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the leadership of Dr. Ayman Ashour, in supporting the participation of Egyptian universities in such international summits, forums, and exhibitions. He emphasized that the strong presence of Egyptian universities on the global stage demonstrates the excellence and competitiveness of Egypt’s higher education system both regionally and internationally.
