Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University; Prof. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, General Supervisor of the Center for Information Systems and Digital Transformation; and Prof. Amr Mossad, Supervisor of the University News Portal, and in the presence of Eng. Shaaban Mansour, Director General of Information Systems and Digital Transformation; Eng. Ibrahim Abdel Qader, Director of the Programming Department at the Center; and Eng. Rehab, Director of the Network Department, a training workshop was held on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, at the Center for Information Systems and Digital Transformation.

The workshop targeted news editors from faculties, units, centers, and sectors across the University and addressed several key topics, including:

• How to use the University website, edit news, and create menus and pages.

• How to upload multiple images for a single news item and upload videos to the website.

• Standardizing official social media pages.

This workshop comes as part of a series of training programs planned to further develop the University’s website, which serves as the institution’s primary interface with both internal and external communities, and to maximize the intended benefits of the platform.

The training session witnessed wide participation from news editors and social media officers across the University.

Prof. Amr welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of the responsibilities they carry, noting the continuous development of the University’s website, including the addition of other languages such as French and others.

The News Portal team delivered a comprehensive explanation and practical training on how to use the University website, while receiving questions, inquiries, and challenges faced by users, and working to address them effectively.
