Menoufia University President Inspects Theoretical Complex and Monitors Preparations for Measurement and Evaluation Centers

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the theoretical complex of the faculties and the measurement and evaluation centers in the Faculty of Law building to monitor the preparations at the centers. He was accompanied by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University; and Eng. Rabab El-Daly, Director General of Engineering Affairs.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased emphasized the importance of the role of measurement and evaluation centers and units across the various faculties in developing the actual assessment system for exams, which results in increased efficiency and skills among graduates. He emphasized the university's commitment to providing all the necessary resources for the success of the university's measurement and evaluation system. This is within the framework of the state's plan and the Ministry of Higher Education's goal of developing university education within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased noted that the measurement and evaluation centers at the university's theoretical complex include three halls in the Faculty of Law lecture halls, each housing 1,400 computers. He emphasized the need to take the necessary security and protection measures and activate surveillance cameras.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased explained the importance of the role of measurement and evaluation centers in spreading the concepts of measurement and evaluation among students and faculty members, and presenting the procedures and processes for building question banks and applying automated correction and electronic tests in the field of specialization, in addition to undertaking a training role aimed at raising the level of skills of faculty members in building question banks and dealing with automated correction programs and electronic tests, in addition to evaluating the performance of colleges in applying the automated correction system and electronic tests, preparing programs and presenting recommendations and proposals for areas of weakness in the overall performance related to measurement and evaluation processes, and developing programs and work systems related to examination work and measuring and evaluating students’ performance.
