Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the committee for selecting Directors General of the General Administration of Community Service, the Office of the Vice President for Graduate Studies, and the General Administration of Institutional Development.

This comes within the framework of the University’s keenness to select administrative leaders who have experience and efficiency to support the institutional work system and raise the level of performance within various sectors.

The committee included in its membership Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ghada Ali Hassan, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Mohamed Zidan, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; Prof. Ashraf Tawfik Shams El-Din, former Dean of the Faculty of Law, Fayoum University; Prof. Salah El-Din Ismail, Professor of Business Administration and Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Capital University; and Prof. Ibrahim Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Sadat University.

The President of the University confirmed that the work of the committee is conducted according to precise standards characterized by neutrality and transparency, and depends on a comprehensive evaluation of competence, experience, and leadership abilities, ensuring the selection of the most capable elements for development, innovation, and achieving institutional objectives.

El-Kased pointed out that the selection of administrative leaders comes within an integrated strategy aimed at raising the efficiency of the administrative apparatus and strengthening coordination between different sectors, which reflects positively on the speed of completing work and improving the quality of services provided to students and faculty members.

He also confirmed the importance of investing in the human element through continuous training and qualification programs according to the latest administrative systems, in a way that supports achieving sustainable development goals and aligns with the state’s directions toward developing the university education system.

He explained that the committee witnessed the submission of 16 candidates, including 6 for the position of Director General of the General Administration of Community Service, 4 candidates for the position of Director General of Institutional Development, and 6 candidates for the position of Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, in a scene that reflects strong confidence in the institutional work environment within the University.

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased confirmed that the current stage requires administrative leaders who possess a future vision capable of keeping pace with digital transformation and adopting modern management methods, pointing out that the University gives special attention to strengthening governance concepts and applying quality standards in all administrative procedures, which contributes to building a flexible and effective administrative system that supports the comprehensive development witnessed by the University.
