Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, inaugurated the activities of the twenty-seventh conference of the Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of the two Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qased for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students, Dr. Mahmoud Koura, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdel-Rahman El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the conference’s rapporteur.

At the beginning of his speech, Mubarak greeted all the conference guests and congratulated on the occasion of Mother’s Day and the approaching month of Ramadan, expressing his happiness for organizing the conference after a two-year hiatus due to the Corona crisis.

Mubarak reviewed the efforts of the college and university hospitals in the face of a great challenge faced by the whole world. He was able to provide medical and treatment services to all patients without tires or complaints, and a number of medical staff were martyred during their service to patients. We extend our appreciation and prayers to their families.

The president of the university stressed that everyone cooperated until he achieved great success in obtaining five acres next to the hospital through the hospitals’ own efforts in order to expand construction and achieve a dream that everyone sought to achieve, which is the establishment of the medical city, which will be a great leap on the land of the governorate to provide treatment services at the highest level and raise the absorptive capacity The hospital has from 1,000 beds to 3,700 beds, to be a new achievement for Menoufia University, which is achieved thanks to the successive efforts of its children, representing one team working for the public interest.

Mubarak praised the topic of the conference on Covid 19 and its impact on life through important axes from a medical and therapeutic point of view, presenting the various modifiers of the Corona virus and the treatment protocols used, wishing success for the conference activities and coming up with important recommendations that contribute to facing the repercussions of the virus on practical, academic and therapeutic life aspects.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased welcomed the attendance of the conference and thanked the conference organizers, stressing that the Faculty of Medicine is one of the bright spots at Menoufia University, which is an important part of the university. And to achieve continuous development and achievements, and wished to make more effort to reach the best, and stressed the university's keenness to support scientific research and scientific forums.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased also praised the activities of the conference and expressed his happiness for attending the conference and being present among faculty members and students.

 

Dr. Mahmoud Koura, Dean of the College and President of the Conference welcomed the guests and attendees of the conference, noting that the conference is being held after a two-year hiatus due to the Corona crisis and comes after the college’s celebration of the graduation of the 34th class, explaining that the conference presents the various modifiers of the Corona virus, treatment protocols and different ways of coexistence in various aspects of life, including the process. Dr. Abdel Rahman El Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and the conference rapporteur, explained that the conference monitors the changes that the world has witnessed after the Corona pandemic and discusses through 23 scientific sessions 130 lectures and scientific research that reviews the impact of Covid 19 on our scientific, scientific and behavioral life, including its impact on medical education strategies and hospitals.
