Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participated today with the medical staff and those responsible for shift work at university hospitals and the National Liver Institute in their annual breakfast.

This came in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Nomani, Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Hani Abdel Majeed, Dean of the National Liver Institute, and deputies. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the attendance of the medical staff at the breakfast ceremony, and expressed his happiness at participating with them in the annual breakfast ceremony and being among them in the medical complex, indicating his pride in the medical facilities, university hospitals, and the Liver Institute, which are considered the crown jewel of the university, and the woman through whom the community sees the university for the therapeutic services and care it provides. Specialized health services for citizens of the governorate and neighboring governorates, in addition to educational services and care for the surrounding community.

El-Kased stressed that health care is among the priorities of society, explaining that the state and political leadership give special attention to medical service providers, noting that university hospitals will soon become part of comprehensive medical insurance, which is an ambitious project that will match health insurance projects in major countries when the system is completed.

The university president pointed out that university hospitals have a major role in providing this medical service in Egypt, as they are responsible for a large part of providing advanced and specialized care. He called on university hospital workers to insist on success and mastery in providing highly effective medical service, stressing that the university supports Hospitals and medical teams, whose efforts are always appreciated by the state and everyone, care for patients and perform their role sincerely.

The university president also responded to the attendees’ questions and inquiries, stressing that university hospitals are witnessing continuous development, and their employees and citizens will realize the impact of this in the coming period, especially after the completion of medical and educational facilities in hospitals, the development of departments, and the establishment of the new medical city, which will allow the addition of new medical, educational, and research services that come within The future plan of the university

El-Kased pointed out the importance of developing mechanisms to solve problems and obstacles to providing high-quality medical service and diligent efforts to provide decent medical service at Menoufia University.

For his part, Dr. Muhammad Al-Nomani thanked the university president and the university’s vice presidents for their keenness to be present among the medical staff, praising the university president’s continued role in supporting university hospitals and their workers.

Dr. Hani Abdel Majeed also saluted the medical service providers at university hospitals and the Liver Institute, stressing the importance of their role in patient care.
