Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the University’s International Center for Faculty and Leadership Development has obtained official accreditation from the National Council for Training and Leadership Preparation, affiliated with the Supreme Council of Universities, as an approved training center. The Center was formally awarded the accreditation logo after meeting all approved standards for the quality of the training process.
Prof. El-Kased affirmed that accrediting the International Center for Faculty and Leadership Development represents a significant step toward strengthening the university’s training system. He emphasized the university’s strong commitment to building the capacities of faculty members and enhancing their professional and academic competencies, in a manner that positively reflects on the quality of the educational and research process. He added that the Center plays a pivotal role in qualifying and preparing academic and administrative leaders through the design and implementation of specialized training programs aimed at developing leadership skills, strategic planning, crisis management, decision-making, and good governance. This contributes to preparing leaders capable of keeping pace with institutional development requirements and the evolving challenges of the higher education system, through the application of the latest training methodologies and leadership capacity-building in accordance with national standards, thereby supporting the university’s objectives, the National Strategy for Higher Education, and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
He further noted that this accreditation crowns continuous development efforts and reflects the university’s commitment to applying quality standards and institutional excellence. It also demonstrates the confidence of the Supreme Council of Universities in the university’s capabilities and its specialized centers, and affirms the Center’s status as an accredited training institution capable of delivering high-quality, specialized programs that contribute to developing the skills of faculty members and academic and administrative leaders, and to supporting the quality of university education and scientific research.
The President of Menoufia University explained that receiving the accreditation logo from the National Council for Training places greater responsibilities on the International Center for Faculty and Leadership Development in the coming phase. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop and update training programs in line with approved national standards, full adherence to quality controls and periodic follow-up, expanding programs dedicated to qualifying academic and administrative leaders, strengthening institutional partnerships, and promoting a culture of sustainable training within the university. This will ensure the sustainability of accreditation and maximize its benefits in supporting the educational and research process.
At the conclusion of his statement, Prof. El-Kased extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Center’s work team, led by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ghada Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Jamalat Youssef, Director of the Center. He praised their dedicated efforts and hard work during the past period, which resulted in the Center obtaining accreditation from the National Council for Training affiliated with the Supreme Council of Universities. He affirmed that this achievement reflects a strong team spirit and commitment to quality and excellence standards, wishing them continued success and further achievements that contribute to advancing the university and its educational and research mission.
