Prof. Ahmed Elkased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting to prepare for the celebration of the University’s 49th anniversary, in the presence of Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdelbary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ghada Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ikramy Gamal, University Secretary-General; Ms. Suad Bayoumi, Head of the Central Office of the University President; along with the assistant secretaries and members of the committee responsible for preparation and arrangements.

Prof. Elkased indicated that the meeting discussed the required arrangements for the annual University Day celebration, which falls on the twenty-fifth of December, and will be held at the Grand Celebration Hall in the theoretical faculties complex.

He also discussed with the committee the necessary procedures to ensure that the celebration is held in an appropriate and distinguished manner, stressing the importance of coordination and cooperation with the University’s administrations and faculties, and the participation of students in the preparation of the event.

The University President added that the celebration will be organized in a suitable institutional format over two days, and will include honoring top-performing students from all faculties, distinguished academic staff members and administrative employees, in addition to recognizing faculty members, leaders, and administrative staff who are retiring this year.

Prof. Elkased emphasized the importance of recognition as a means of motivating outstanding and distinguished individuals academically, as well as appreciating those who have completed their service upon reaching the legal retirement age, acknowledging their dedicated efforts and sincere contributions to the University.
