Additionally, he approved urgent financial assistance for a burn-injury case due to their critical health condition.
He further delivered 20 suitable employment contracts in the private sector to individuals from among the people of determination, helping them secure stable sources of income and cope with daily life demands.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Elkased praised the Governor’s tangible humanitarian efforts carried out on the ground, the continued direct communication with citizens, the organization of periodic and daily meetings, and the rapid response to cases reported through social media platforms, all aimed at providing comprehensive support to vulnerable families. He also commended the Governor’s field efforts in following up on development and service projects and improving service quality across all sectors in line with the goals of sustainable development across the governorate.
Prof. Elkased emphasized the University’s leading role in serving the local community in Menoufia Governorate, noting that the University’s mission extends beyond education and scientific research to include active community engagement, problem-solving, and supporting state institutions in achieving sustainable development goals.
He stressed the importance of the partnership between the University and the Governorate in implementing community and service initiatives, leveraging academic and research expertise to serve citizens, enhance quality of life, and advance comprehensive development efforts, providing all forms of support to the community.
The Director of the Labour Directorate added that a total of 225 employment contracts had been provided to people of determination during 2025, contributing to their empowerment and integration into the labour market. He expressed satisfaction with holding such periodic meetings to extend support to vulnerable and low-income families, noting the presence of officials from Health, Supply, Social Solidarity, and Labour to engage directly with cases, facilitate necessary procedures, and provide efficient and non-traditional services, especially for medical cases requiring urgent intervention.
