Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and his accompanying delegation from the university witnessed the celebration activities of the Egyptian Universities Excellence Day, which was held yesterday evening in the presence of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to honor the first graduates of Egyptian universities, and in the presence of the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Higher Education, Education, Education, Youth, and Sports, university presidents, representatives, and college deans. Nearly 20,000 students, male and female, and a large gathering of their parents at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia Governorate.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, honored the top students graduating from the Class of 2023 in the sectors of: medicine, engineering, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, economics and political science, science, arts, educational studies, social service, computer science and informatics, technological education, Media studies, physical education, arts and music education, tourism and hotels, agricultural studies, specific education and home economics, commercial studies, antiquities sector, nursing, congratulating all students on their excellence, stressing the importance of encouraging students to complete the path of excellence and motivating and qualifying them through courses. Specialized training, participation in community work, and assistance to qualify them for the labor market with the aim of contributing to achieving Egypt’s plan and vision for achieving comprehensive development.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, explained that the university participated with a large delegation that included the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the deans of the colleges, 140 male and female students among the top students in all colleges, the Student Union Council, the Students for Egypt family, and a large number of accompanying students’ parents. In addition to the supervisors of the student delegation from Student Welfare, the student delegation participated in the parade queue and the march that took place in front of the President of the Republic.

The President of the University congratulated the outstanding students, praising what they achieved during their years of study, expressing his appreciation for organizing this huge celebration in the presence of the President of the Republic and his keenness to honor the outstanding students in all sectors with the aim of honoring them for what they have provided and motivating them to begin their professional career with excellence, and motivating students who are still in the educational stages to excel. And excellence, stressing that such honoring serves as a strong motivation that confirms the political leadership’s interest in young people to complete the path of success and excellence.
