Menoufia University Continues to Strengthen Its Quality Assurance System; University President Affirms Full Support for Faculties Seeking Accreditation Media Department 12/07/2026 Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, affirmed that the University is moving steadily toward completing its quality assurance and accreditation system by providing comprehensive technical and administrative support to its faculties. These efforts aim to increase the number of accredited faculties and fulfill the requirements for the University's institutional accreditation, in line with Menoufia University's strategy to enhance the quality of education and scientific research and achieve institutional excellence. His remarks came during his chairmanship of the meeting of the University's Quality Assurance Center Committee, attended by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ghada Ali Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Mrs. Souad Bayoumi; Prof. Wafaa Zahran, Director of the Quality Assurance Center; Prof. Zeinab Abdel Khalek; Prof. Noha Othman; Prof. Alaa El-Beltagy, Deputy Directors of the Center; and Asmaa Refaat, the Center’s Administrative Director. Prof. El-Kased emphasized that quality assurance and accreditation are among the University's top strategic priorities for enhancing academic and administrative performance. He stressed the University's commitment to fostering a culture of quality across all sectors and faculties in accordance with the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, thereby strengthening the University's position in both national and international rankings. He noted that the Quality Assurance Center continues its efforts to prepare faculties for accreditation. Three faculties have already obtained accreditation, while 12 additional faculties are being supported to fulfill accreditation requirements during the current year. These efforts are proceeding alongside the completion of the University's institutional accreditation requirements, reflecting the significant progress achieved in this strategic area. The meeting reviewed the readiness of several faculties planning to apply for accreditation during the July and September 2026 accreditation cycles. Discussions focused on progress in meeting quality standards, assessing the faculties' level of preparedness, and identifying the remaining procedures required to complete accreditation files, ensuring the highest level of readiness before submission. The Committee also reviewed the latest developments regarding the University's institutional accreditation file and discussed mechanisms for completing the evidence and documentation required under the various accreditation standards. Participants emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination between the Quality Assurance Center and the University's different sectors to ensure the timely implementation of the approved action plan. The meeting concluded with a review of performance indicators, internal review mechanisms, and continuous improvement plans across the University's centers, departments, and administrative units. These efforts are intended to enhance institutional performance, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the University's capacity to achieve its strategic objectives in quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional excellence.
