Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the Excellence and Honors Committees and the University Award Committee for the Best Scientific Thesis for the year 2024, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Fayoumi, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mansour Muhammad Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Muhammad Al-Naamani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Director General of Postgraduate Studies and Research
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that during the meeting of the Excellence and Honors Committee, the arbitration scores of applicants for the university awards, encouragement, excellence, and scientific authorship, and the Dr. Mustafa Bahjat Abdel-Muttal Award for the Distinguished for the year 2024 were reviewed, explaining that the candidates were selected by the committee according to the highest scores they obtained in preparation for honoring them at the University Day celebration on December 25. El-Kased added that during the session of the University Award Committee, the selection of the best scientific thesis was discussed, and the judging committees’ scores for the thesis were reviewed, according to the judging conditions in terms of the importance of the thesis, its role in serving the community, and its practical applicability, which was done by examining the applicants’ files and evaluating the files in light of the selection criteria, to determine the winners in each category of the award, which includes the best master’s thesis and the best doctoral thesis in the scientific and literary field, which were granted by Menoufia University.
