Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary-General of the University, met with the university's table tennis team, which won the General Sports Federation Championship Cup for Government Employees, which was organized by the Sports Federation in the Youth City in Hurghada, in which branches of the General Sports Federation for Government Employees participated, including (Menoufia, Giza, Sharqia, Minya, Beheira, Beni Suef, Kafr El-Sheikh, North Sinai, Cairo, Marsa Matrouh, Alexandria, New Valley).
The university president congratulated the team that represented the university honorably and achieved first place with merit and outperformed all competitors. This is his permanent pledge to the Menoufia University table tennis team that has achieved many championships over the years. He praised the organization of the championship, which comes under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and within the framework of the presidential initiative (A New Beginning for Building the Human Being) and under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to raise the efficiency of employees in the state's administrative apparatus and aims to provide a competitive atmosphere that enhances the capabilities of employees in the state's administrative apparatus through sports games, in implementation of Egypt's Vision 2030. Dr. Ekramy Gamal also congratulated the team and the new achievement it has achieved, which is added to the record of achievements of the distinguished administrative apparatus at Menoufia University, stressing his full support for all activities in which it participates to develop the capabilities of employees and encourage them to participate in various activities and events, stressing the interest of the university president in providing all means of support to develop the university's administrative apparatus. The team was represented by the university’s administrative staff: Yasser Najm, team captain, Yasser Nourallah, Masoud Zaid, Sami Abu Al-Makarem, Ihab Ramadan, and Ayman Sobhi, general supervisor of the team.
