Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, accompanied by Accountant Mohamed Moussa, Deputy Governor of Menoufia, Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development, and in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, inaugurated the exhibition of industrial and technological products, agricultural products and handicrafts for the third annual conference of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, which is held under the title "Social Responsibility of Universities in Light of the National Strategy for Higher Education, Future Prospects and Visions" for the university's faculties.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, praised the exhibits included in the exhibition, which keep pace with the conference themes aimed at preserving a clean, green environment free of pollution, developing the environment and entrepreneurship, and encouraging students to work on small projects with high production quality, whether in agricultural production or less harmful chemical industries, technology, handicrafts, wood products, environmentally friendly natural textiles, and medical products manufactured with natural materials with the least environmental or industrial damage. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased also inspected the exhibition, which included a large number of innovative and distinguished student projects in the production of medical products for public health care and free of harmful chemicals at the Faculty of Pharmacy, agricultural products, dairy products, as well as handicraft products in ceramics, textiles and wood as a start to establishing small projects at the Faculties of Specific Education, Childhood Education, Commerce, Home Economics and the Public Service Center at Menoufia University, in addition to the Faculty of Arts initiative in the exhibition, which came under the title "Archaeological Awareness and Strengthening National Identity in Light of Egypt's Vision for Sustainable Development 2030", in addition to the patents presented by university students in the faculties of artificial intelligence, computers, information and engineering, which provide multiple services, including controlling environmental pollution and ways to provide clean solar energy and health and medical care services for patients and prosthetic limbs, in addition to community participation provided by the conference sponsoring companies and remote control device projects. The exhibition also included various therapeutic and medical projects at the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Health Sciences, in addition to modern and advanced medical care methods to provide good health care at the Faculty of Nursing. The envoy and the attendees of the forum praised the exhibition's displays that highlight the efforts of young people in the field of new and renewable energy and digital transformation, stressing that the exhibition supports small projects and innovations presented by students in preserving the environment, climate change and carbon footprint, and what the sponsoring and participating companies have provided in products that contribute to building an environmentally friendly future and digital transformation applications towards a green economy.

During his inspection of the exhibition of the College of Home Economics, Al-Qassid confirmed his support for the establishment of a production line for natural leather products industries, and the project of recycling waste from factories producing leather and using it in other industries with an economic return.

El-Kased and the participating guests also praised the products of the College of Specific Education for its use of sustainable, environmentally friendly materials in the production and manufacture of printing, handicrafts, porcelain and pottery, which can be used safely in cooking.

The College of Pharmacy at the university also presented a project to manufacture medicines and cosmetic products from natural materials free of chemicals and environmentally friendly.

The university president also inspected the Faculty of Agriculture exhibition, which included natural dairy products without preservatives that are environmentally friendly, economically supported, and free of preservatives that are harmful to the body and public health.

The exhibition included exhibits from companies participating in the conference activities, which presented environmentally friendly projects that contribute to reducing environmental pollutants and providing advanced systems for traditional management, as well as products manufactured from solar energy and building a developed residential complex based on environmentally friendly innovations.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the exhibition includes products that combat the spread of chronic diseases such as cancer and hepatitis. Which are presented by college students with community awareness for different social classes through convoys that spread knowledge and culture for a healthy quality of life and a human environment within Menoufia Governorate, which matches the axes and goals of the presidential initiatives of the initiative "Beginning and a Decent Life" and "Egypt's Future for Sustainable Development 2030" towards national community development for all.

Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, also pointed out that the participating student exhibitions came to simulate the urgent environmental and societal problems in many fields, which are discussed by the third annual conference "Social Responsibility of Universities in Light of the National Strategy for Higher Education: Future Prospects and Visions" and focus on climate change issues, green projects and infrastructure for environmental changes, which the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sectors at Menoufia University and the universities seek to provide a sustainable greener and healthier environment, and reach the best environmentally friendly university in Egypt, based on which the idea of ​​environmental projects was established in the student exhibition for colleges.

The opening ceremony of the exhibitions was attended by members of the Supreme Council of Universities for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Rania Azmy, the conference chair, professor and vice dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the conference rapporteur, Dr. Magdy Zaki Matar, professor and head of department at the Faculty of Science and former vice dean of the faculty for graduate studies and research, and Dr. Heba Al-Ghotmi, professor and head of the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods at the Faculty of Education and general supervisor of production exhibitions, deans and faculty members of the faculties and the Knowledge Bank at the university, in the presence of the Development Agency for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises in Menoufia Governorate, the Bedaya Initiative for Human Building, the Civil Society Foundation for Orphans, the Public Service Center at the university, the Industrial Infrastructure Projects Agency, the Federation of Industries, the Decent Life Foundation, the Hijab and Madkour Foundation for Engineering Industries, the conference sponsors, and the university’s staff and students.
