Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, Professor Mohamed Moussa, Deputy Governor of Menoufia, Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and member of the University Council, and Vice Presidents of Universities for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students.

This meeting comes on the sidelines of the launch of the conference activities organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector entitled "Social Responsibility of Universities in Light of the National Strategy for Higher Education, Future Prospects and Visions", under the supervision of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The conference is chaired by Dr. Rania Azmy, and the conference rapporteurs are Dr. Magdy Matar and Dr. Heba Al-Ghotmi. After the opening of the conference activities, a session of the Supreme Council of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector will be held, which is hosted today by Menoufia University.

The university president welcomed the university guests to participate in the activities of the annual conference of the sector, which witnesses many important sessions to shed light on the dimensions of social responsibility in light of the directions of the National Strategy for Higher Education, and review the role of the university in achieving the goals of sustainable development through Egypt's Vision 2030, in addition to enhancing aspects of local and international cooperation and partnerships between universities.

Following the reception ceremony, the university president and the guests headed to the Grand Celebration Hall in the college complex.
