President of Menoufia University Receives President of Delta Technological University to Discuss Prospects for Joint Cooperation

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received Prof. Wagih El-Askary, President of Delta Technological University, to discuss ways of strengthening joint cooperation between the two universities in academic, research, and technological fields, within the framework of supporting integration among Egyptian higher education institutions.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Soaad Bayoumi, Secretary General of the University, and Prof. Alawi El-Khouly, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering.

Prof. El-Kased welcomed Prof. El-Askary, one of the distinguished alumni of the Faculty of Engineering at Menoufia University, praising his prominent academic standing and honorable record. He affirmed that the University takes pride in its graduates who assume leadership positions and contribute to serving higher education and scientific research.

The President of Menoufia University emphasized the University’s commitment to expanding its partnerships with technological universities in alignment with the State’s orientation toward supporting technological education and linking it to industry. He noted that cooperation with Delta Technological University represents an important step toward preparing qualified cadres capable of competing in local and regional labor markets.

The meeting addressed mechanisms for cooperation in practical training, exchange of scientific expertise, and opportunities for collaboration in applied research projects linked to labor market needs, contributing to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of students’ technological skills.

For his part, the President of Delta Technological University expressed his appreciation for Menoufia University and its distinguished academic and research capabilities, affirming his aspiration to establish an effective partnership based on knowledge exchange and the implementation of joint activities that enhance the educational process and achieve sustainable development goals.

This meeting comes within the framework of both universities’ commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and activating partnerships that support the quality of education and scientific research, while serving the State’s plans to develop the higher education system and align it with societal and labor market needs.
