Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, confirmed that the university pays great attention to the file of expatriates in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to advance the system of expatriate students so that Egypt becomes the largest distinguished educational center in the Middle East, in order to achieve the strategy and vision of Egypt 2030. The university also contributes to activating the Study in Egypt initiative. The university's expatriates office has been developed and supported with all requirements, in order to provide full care for expatriates in all faculties, in addition to attracting and facilitating the procedures for registering expatriate students at the university.

In this regard, Dr. Ghada Ali Hassan, International Relations Coordinator, and Dr. Mohamed Lotfy Zaki, Executive Coordinator for Expatriates at the University, organized a meeting with officials of the Central Administration for Expatriates at the Ministry of Higher Education to review the most important developments in the decisions and laws regulating the expatriates system, as well as completing the financial accounting operations for the expatriates file in the last five years, in the presence of Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Hazem Saleh, former Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research. The meeting witnessed great praise for the distinguished delegation of Menoufia University and the university's interest in the expatriates file and moving forward with full force towards upgrading expatriates and achieving the greatest benefit for the university.

The officials of the Central Administration, each in his specialty, stated that the mechanization and digitization of work at Menoufia University, represented by the electronic registration platform for expatriates affairs, which was prepared by the Programming Department at the University's Information Center, under the supervision of the Expatriates Office, the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs, and the Graduate Studies Department, has added a strong advantage and support for review between the two parties.

Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari stressed his keenness to remove obstacles facing incoming students to reach a scientific, social and cultural environment that enables students to integrate into their new community in the land of Egypt, as well as following up on incoming students academically and scientifically and revealing the cases of those who are struggling. Dr. Hazem Saleh expressed his sincere thanks to the university’s work team for their distinguished efforts to increase the number of incoming students at Menoufia University. The meeting included several indicators, the most important of which are: that the university and the ministry are partners in success without any differences, and that confidence is clear in the performance of the Menoufia University work team, which paves the way for increasing the number of incoming students, and the success of the general managers of student affairs and postgraduate studies in unifying visions regarding executive procedures, supporting the student and studies sectors and encouraging officials in the two sectors to perform tasks, in addition to maximizing the role of the expatriates office in unifying visions and periodic follow-up of the two sectors, and preparing periodic reports at least quarterly for the university president and senior management on the regularity of procedures and plans to increase the number of expatriates to ensure good regularity of performance in the two sectors with the same rules and standards. Today's meeting is also a clear example of how university employees carry out work characterized by centralization and unified standards in the different fields of the two sectors, which supports the central vision of the ministry and the state.

Dr. Ghada Hassan stated that the university is striving with all its efforts to create an attractive educational and social environment for incoming students. New programs required by the new labor market have been launched and uploaded to the Edris in Egypt platform, and the university is always striving to keep pace with the tremendous development in teaching and learning mechanisms.
