As part of Menoufia University’s commitment to supporting cultural activities and nurturing talented students, the University participated in the “Ibda‘ 14” Festival, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and the supervision of Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. El-Kased affirmed that the University’s participation in the Ibda‘ Festival stems from its keenness to discover students’ creative potential and develop their talents across various cultural and artistic fields. He emphasized that student activities represent a fundamental pillar in building students’ personalities and enhancing their intellectual and creative abilities. He added that the advancement of this number of students to compete at the national university level reflects the excellence of Menoufia University students and the quality of their preparation for national events.
The President of the University extended his sincere congratulations to the shortlisted students, wishing them continued success and outstanding results in the Ibda‘ 14 Festival, in a manner that reflects the University’s distinguished standing among Egyptian universities and its pioneering role in supporting student creativity.
For his part, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, stated that the University is keen to provide full support to talented students and to create a suitable environment for their participation in local and national competitions. He noted that the Ibda‘ Festival serves as an important platform for discovering young talents and refining their skills, particularly in cultural and media fields. He also praised the efforts of the General Administration of Student Welfare and the Cultural Activity Department in the thorough preparation and continuous follow-up of the participants.
Menoufia University participated in several cultural fields, including novel writing, short stories, poetry, and television reporting (specialized and non-specialized), under the general supervision of Prof. Mohamed Gamal Shaheen, General Director of the General Administration of Student Welfare, with follow-up by Ayman Abdel-Qawy, Director of the Cultural Activity Department, Nagaah El-Mehy, Activity Officer at the Cultural Activity Department, and Prof. Moataz Abdel-Aal, Competition Supervisor.
