El-Kased explained that the meeting discussed the performance and workflow of the emergency and critical cases hospital ramp project, setting dates and time programs for the completion of the project and the completion of the work of the network of medical raids and central air conditioning, indicating that the university is keen on the speedy completion of the project, which comes within the university's plan to develop medical services and health care. The university president emphasized the importance of cooperation for the speedy completion of construction and equipment work to be opened as soon as possible, and holding periodic meetings to follow up the progress of work. .
The project includes raising three floors, including allocating an entire floor to increase intensive care beds with a capacity of 56 beds, in addition to allocating an entire floor as a surgical unit with a capacity of 11 operating rooms with a closed capsule system, which is a self-sterilization system according to international specifications, while the last floor will be allocated as an internal department with a capacity of 60 Bed for emergency patients.
