Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, visited Ares Egypt Laboratory Furniture Factory in Sadat City, accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Hazem Saleh, former Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies, Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Deans of Faculties of Menoufia University, and Dr. Maha El-Tony, Coordinator of the Scientific Innovation Office at the University. They were received by Dr. Mona Khairy, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Integrated Scientific Group, in the presence of representatives of Delta University, the University of Leadership and Technology, faculty members, businessmen, factory owners, experts, and representatives of education and industry, on the sidelines of the workshop organized by the University Innovation Office in cooperation with the factory on linking scientific research outputs to national industry. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, expressed his happiness to visit the Ares Egypt Factory for Laboratory Furniture in the Fifth Industrial Zone in Sadat City, noting that this visit comes within the framework of activating the role of regional alliances for Egyptian universities, in implementation of the presidential initiative "Alliance and Development", which enjoys the support and patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in line with achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and implementing the regional alliances plan to support scientific research for industry and the national economy, and facing the challenges facing the geographical regions and various industrial zones across the Republic. The President of the University praised the products of the factory, which works in the field of implementing integrated scientific, educational, medical and industrial projects of devices, equipment and laboratory furniture. It is an Egyptian joint-stock company working in the field of manufacturing laboratory furniture with Spanish technology and has obtained a certificate of quality in production, occupational safety and the environment. It is located on an area of ​​6,000 meters and exports its products to Arab, African and European countries. The envoy and members of the university council inspected the factory, which includes production units for metal furniture such as drawer units, storage cabinets and energy cells. The factory provides all industrial, medical, laboratory, engineering and industrial needs, as well as all practical and medical solutions and contracting for a number of universities such as Menoufia Private University, Zewail University of Science and Technology, King Salman University, Alamein University, Galala University and the Egyptian Space Agency, under the slogan Made in Egypt. The university president also praised the factory's manufacturing departments, which include the manufacturing department, the painting department, the welding equipment department, the assembly department and the external installations department. A large number of distinguished and efficient engineers graduate from Menoufia University work in it. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, also listened to a detailed explanation about the different production lines, in which Dr. Mona Khairy, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Integrated Scientific Group at Ares Egypt Factory, explained the different stages of production and manufacturing, starting from the use of metal panels, the assembly stage, the welding and painting stage of the product, and reaching the final assembly stage, which is consistent with the latest global industrial compositions in the production of laboratory furniture, with distinguished research and scientific expertise, and with research consultations carried out through joint cooperation protocols with universities and research bodies, adding that the factory recently signed a cooperation protocol with Menoufia University with Ares Factory to exchange scientific and research expertise in manufacturing and innovate new technology to improve the value and quality of the product and provide training opportunities for students.
