In support of the academic and research system at Menoufia University, Prof.  Ahmed Farag El-Kased issued a decision appointing Prof. Islam Mohamed Ibrahim El-Garwani, Professor in the Department of Zoology at the Faculty of Science, as Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research for a period of three years.

The University President also issued a decision assigning Dr. Marwa Mohamed Mahfouz, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, to act as Head of the Department, in support of institutional work and to enhance performance efficiency within academic departments.

Prof.  Ahmed El-Kased affirmed that these decisions are part of the university’s plan to engage distinguished scientific and administrative competencies capable of continuing the development process and achieving excellence across various sectors.

He added that the university gives special attention to empowering young academic leaders and providing them with opportunities to actively participate in university management, contributing to creating a stimulating educational and research environment that encourages innovation and creativity, wishing them continued success in their new responsibilities.

For her part, Ms. Soad Biyoumi, Secretary-General of the University, extended her sincere congratulations to the newly appointed academic leaders, affirming the administrative sector’s commitment to providing full support to ensure the smooth running of operations and the achievement of the university’s strategic objectives, thereby strengthening its academic standing and keeping pace with institutional development requirements in the current phase.
