Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, issued a decision assigning Prof. Salah Abdel Fattah Hijazi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the university, to serve as Advisor to the President for Innovation Affairs, in line with the university’s approach to strengthening its innovation ecosystem.

The University President affirmed that this assignment reflects the university’s commitment to developing the academic and research environment and maximizing the role of innovation in supporting the educational process. He noted that the university places great emphasis on encouraging distinguished scientific cadres and utilizing their expertise in support of institutional development plans.

He added that the upcoming phase requires concerted efforts to support students and researchers, motivate them to produce innovative and applicable ideas, and enhance the university’s standing at both the local and international levels.

For his part, Prof. Salah Hijazi expressed his appreciation for the university administration’s confidence, affirming his commitment to working in accordance with the university’s vision to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, create an environment conducive to creativity, and support student and research projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and Egypt Vision 2030.
