Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, paid an official visit to Prof. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - Egypt, to extend his congratulations on the occasion of assuming his ministerial duties, wishing him success in leading the higher education system during the coming phase.

During the meeting, the University President expressed his appreciation for the political leadership’s confidence in appointing the Minister, emphasizing that the current stage requires the concerted efforts of all higher education institutions to implement the State’s strategy for university development, advance scientific research, and align educational outcomes with labor market needs, in line with the vision of the New Republic.

Prof. El-Kased affirmed Menoufia University’s commitment to supporting the Ministry’s directions toward expanding interdisciplinary programs and modern specializations, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship within universities, and enhancing international rankings and the quality of the educational process, thereby preparing graduates capable of competing locally and regionally.

For his part, the Minister of Higher Education stressed the significant role played by Egyptian universities in supporting comprehensive development plans, praising Menoufia University’s efforts in developing its academic programs and expanding its research and community engagement activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides affirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and coordination to support the advancement of higher education and scientific research, implement initiatives that enhance the regional and international standing of Egyptian universities, and achieve the objectives of the State and Egypt Vision 2030.
