Menoufia University President Conducts Night Inspection Tour of University Hospitals to Follow Up on Comprehensive Patient Care and Congratulates Medical Teams on the Occasion of Ramadan

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, conducted a night inspection tour of the university hospitals to monitor workflow and ensure the quality of healthcare services provided to patients. The visit reflects his commitment to continuous field follow-up and assessing the level of services delivered to citizens. He was received by Prof. Mohamed El-Nemany, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Menoufia University Hospitals.

The tour included inspection of several vital departments and intensive care units, where the President was assured of the availability of medicines and medical supplies, the regular attendance of medical and nursing staff, and adherence to quality and infection control standards, ensuring distinguished and safe medical services for patients.

He emphasized that the University Administration places the development of university hospitals at the top of its priorities, in line with the state’s efforts to enhance the healthcare system. He noted that the increasing number of patients reflects strong public confidence in the level of services provided, which necessitates continuous improvement and development of capabilities.

He also stated that work is underway on the implementation of the Medical City Project, which represents a major qualitative leap in developing the university’s healthcare and educational services. The project aims to establish an integrated medical system comprising specialized departments and advanced centers of excellence, providing high-level treatment services while supporting medical education and training for students. The Medical City aligns with the state’s vision to advance the healthcare sector, meet citizens’ needs, and keep pace with the latest global standards in medical care.

During the tour, he met with several patients and their families, listened to their feedback regarding the quality of services, and directed prompt action on any remarks or complaints, ensuring the best possible care to achieve patient satisfaction and alleviate suffering.

He also met with citizens inside the hospital, affirming that university hospitals represent one of the most important pillars of the state’s healthcare services, especially amid ongoing comprehensive development in infrastructure and medical equipment, as well as the enhancement of the competencies of doctors and nursing staff.

The President extended his congratulations to the medical teams and hospital staff on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, praising their dedication and humanitarian commitment, particularly during night shifts, and affirming that their efforts reflect a distinguished image of the university’s medical sector.

He concluded his visit by stressing the importance of continuous field presence by leadership and real-time monitoring of operations to improve healthcare quality and ensure the best level of medical care for citizens.

Prof. Mohamed El-Nemany confirmed that the hospitals are witnessing significant advancement in medical services and equipment, in implementation of the University’s directives to enhance the healthcare system. He highlighted ongoing updates of medical devices and continuous capacity building of medical and nursing staff, noting that the growing number of daily patients reflects public trust in service quality, motivating further efforts to maintain this level and provide healthcare worthy of the Egyptian citizen.

He also expressed sincere appreciation to the University President for his continuous support of the university hospital system and his commitment to its development and provision of necessary resources, emphasizing that this support has had a significant impact on improving healthcare quality and strengthening public confidence in university hospitals.
