Menoufia University Participates with a Distinguished Student Delegation in the "Start Summit 2" at the Grand Egyptian Museum to Enhance Youth Employability Media Department 20/06/2026 Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the University participated with a distinguished student delegation representing various faculties in the second edition of "Start Summit 2," organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in cooperation with several of Egypt's leading companies and banks at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The event was attended by Prof. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, along with a distinguished group of executive and academic leaders and development partners. The University's participation comes as part of the efforts of the Social Solidarity Unit to support and serve students, reflecting Menoufia University's commitment to enhancing students' readiness for the labor market and creating new pathways for economic empowerment and human development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt Vision 2030. Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased emphasized that the participation of Menoufia University students in major national events forms an integral part of the University's strategy to build students' personalities and develop their academic and professional capabilities. He noted that the University is continuously committed to providing students with opportunities for direct engagement with practical experience, state institutions, and the private sector. He added that the University is dedicated to preparing graduates equipped with knowledge, professional skills, innovation, and competitiveness by expanding training and qualification opportunities and aligning the educational process with labor market requirements. These efforts contribute to graduating highly qualified professionals capable of leading development and actively participating in building the New Republic. The summit was attended by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, who stressed the importance of students participating in such national forums, as they provide valuable opportunities for learning, acquiring practical experience, and increasing awareness of future labor market requirements. The summit featured a series of panel discussions and training workshops addressing the alignment of education with labor market needs, entrepreneurship and investment, the role of Social Solidarity Units in universities, and the application of technology and digital transformation in supporting employment opportunities and economic empowerment. The event concluded with a closing session attended by the Minister of Social Solidarity and participating officials, followed by an artistic performance that received enthusiastic engagement from students, reflecting the significance of such national platforms in preparing, empowering, and inspiring young people for the future. The participation of the student delegation was organized and supervised by the General Administration of Student Welfare under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the Administration, in coordination with Neriman Abdel Gawad Awadallah, Director of the University's Social Solidarity Unit, and Mohamed Abdel Wahed El-Sayed, Social Protection and Economic Empowerment Officer. The student delegation was accompanied by Mohamed Khattab, Director of the Social Activities and Trips Department, together with the Administration's social specialists: Sara Mohamed Shadid, Rasha Adel Abdel Salam, and Areej Mohamed Arafa, reflecting the University's commitment to integrating students into national forums while developing their professional and social skills.
