President of Menoufia University Holds Online Meeting with Faculty Deans to Review Work Progress and Highlight Key Activities

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held an online meeting with the deans of the University's faculties to review the progress of work across all faculties, follow up on the latest developments regarding examination procedures and the prompt announcement of results, review the most significant activities, events, and achievements accomplished since the previous meeting, and discuss preparations for the summer recess and the upcoming academic year.

At the beginning of the meeting, the University President reviewed the major academic, research, and community service activities organized by the faculties during the past period, highlighting the achievements made in education, scientific research, and community engagement. He commended the faculties for implementing numerous initiatives and events that reflect the University's developmental and awareness-raising role while strengthening its academic reputation.

Prof. El-Kased also reviewed the progress of examination procedures across the University's faculties, emphasizing the importance of completing marking, revision, grade recording, and the announcement of results within the approved timelines. He stressed the need to maintain accuracy, transparency, and adherence to quality standards throughout all stages of the examination control process.

The President further reviewed the outcomes of his recent inspection tours of second-semester examination committees in several faculties, during which he monitored the smooth conduct of examinations, the availability of an appropriate examination environment for students, and compliance with the regulations governing the examination process. He reaffirmed the University's commitment to providing all necessary support to ensure that students take their examinations in a safe, well-organized environment that meets the highest standards of quality and discipline.

The meeting also discussed preparations for the summer vacation period, including faculty plans for carrying out routine maintenance, upgrading university buildings, educational facilities, lecture halls, and laboratories to ensure full readiness for welcoming students at the beginning of the new academic year.

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination and integration among all University sectors, while continuing to implement development plans, advance digital transformation, and improve educational and student services. He noted that these efforts support the University's goals of achieving institutional and academic excellence and enhancing its ability to meet national development requirements and the vision of the Egyptian state.

During the meeting, Prof. El-Kased congratulated the Faculty of Science on the success of two student research teams in publishing two international scientific papers in Q1-ranked international journals, describing the achievement as a reflection of the excellence of Menoufia University students and their ability to contribute effectively to scientific research and knowledge production. He reaffirmed the University's commitment to supporting students and researchers and encouraging international scientific publication.

The University President also expressed his appreciation to all members of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation – Menoufia University (EPSF Menoufia) for their outstanding efforts in organizing the blood donation awareness campaign entitled "I Am an Egyptian Donor... I Am a Regular Donor." The campaign was held in cooperation with the Menoufia Regional Blood Bank for the ninth consecutive year. He praised the campaign's humanitarian and community role in promoting the culture of voluntary blood donation and strengthening the values of participation and social responsibility among students.
