Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held the monthly meeting with the deans of faculties to follow up on the progress of work in the faculties and discuss topics that need to be studied before presenting them to the next university council, which was held today at the National Liver Institute in the presence of the university's vice presidents, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari for Education and Students, and Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary-General of the University. They were received by Dr. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the Institute, Dr. Hani Abdel-Majeed, Vice Dean of the Institute for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Iman Abdel-Samee, Vice Dean of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Ahmed Attia, Executive Director of the Liver Institute Hospital.

The university president began the meeting by thanking the dean of the National Liver Institute for hosting this meeting, which comes after the institute celebrated obtaining institutional accreditation from the General Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, and the Liver Institute Hospital obtaining accreditation from the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Control (GAHAR), praising this important step in the record of achievements of the institute, the distinguished medical edifice, pointing out To his participation in the activities of the Seventh International Conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the title "Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and the Importance of Quality Education and Linking it to Artificial Intelligence", referring to the university's plan to automate university hospitals and the importance of this important step in light of the development that the university seeks to achieve to create a qualitative shift in the history of university hospitals and the Liver Institute Hospital.

During the meeting, the university president praised the activities of the tenth international scientific conference of the College of Nursing, which was held under the title "One Planet and One Health in Innovative Nursing Research", and the important sessions witnessed by the conference that discussed the various axes of the conference, and presented everything new in nursing research in various specialties.

The envoy informed the attendees of the cooperation protocol that was signed between the Faculty of Medicine and the Oncology Institute at the university in the fields of research, treatment and diagnostics to provide a distinguished service with high quality from an advanced scientific perspective for cancer patients in the governorate and neighboring governorates, and improve the performance of health services provided to them, in addition to enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research, operation and training programs of common interest between the two parties.

The university president reviewed the most important events in which he participated, the most important of which are: the opening of the third international conference of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Faculty of Medicine under the title "The Importance of Cooperation between Medical Specialties in Achieving the Best Results in Neurosurgery" in cooperation with the Indian Association of Neurosurgeons and the Egyptian Association of Neurosurgeons, and participation in the ceremony of distributing certificates of exemption from military service to students with disabilities, which was hosted by the university in the presence of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, and Major General Mohamed Sobhi Mahna, Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department of the Armed Forces, and an inspection visit to Menoufia Private University to follow up on the progress of work and ensure the regularity of the mid-term exams for the first semester of the current academic year, and participation in the opening activities of the ONCO Egypt 2024 Conference in its fourth edition, which is held under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and is organized by the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Councils at the Ministry of Health in cooperation with oncology centers and oncology departments at Egyptian universities. The university president stressed the importance of good preparation for the mid-term exams of the first semester, emphasizing full commitment to the general controls and ethics, the regularity of the educational process in all faculties, and taking the necessary legal measures against any violation. The university president also held the laboratories and scientific equipment committee after his meeting with the deans in the presence of Ayman Badr, Director General of the General Administration of Strategy, where the university president confirmed that the investment budget project for Chapter Six of the 2025/2026 fiscal year plan is being prepared, and the dues committees for the 2023/2024 fiscal year (general treasury, self-resources) have been completed, directing the deans to send the needs of each faculty to be included in the plan and take the necessary measures to implement it.
