Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and the supervision of Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the General Administration of Student Care, in cooperation with the Military Education Department at the university, organized a visit for a delegation of Menoufia University students, including 35 male and female students, to the Egyptian Military Academy at its new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that the visit comes within the framework of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to organize field visits for university students to raise the level of awareness and raise the spirit of loyalty and belonging among them and acquaint them with the size of the heroism and achievements achieved by Egypt.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the importance of students' participation in such events to develop their national belonging and awareness, noting that these visits contribute to building awareness and enhancing loyalty to the homeland, praising the students' keenness to participate in the visits organized by the university in cooperation with the relevant authorities to learn about their homeland's achievements and honorable history so that they can support their homeland and participate in the process of construction and development, stressing the university's continuation in implementing activity and visit plans throughout the academic year.
Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari added that these visits are carried out in full coordination between the university's Military Education Department and the Leadership Preparation Department with the Popular Defense Forces and the Armed Forces to see the extent of the development that Egypt has recently witnessed in terms of modernizing the infrastructure and developing its institutions, noting that the university is keen on these visits because of their great benefits in developing the values of loyalty and belonging among university students.
The delegation was accompanied by Colonel Mustafa Abdullah Akid, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, and Osama Shawky Daif, Director of the Leadership Preparation Department. The delegation was received by Major General Ahmed Farouk Omar, Assistant Director of the Egyptian Military Academy. The visit activities began with a reception at the Academy Command Building, then a visit to the main platform and group photos on the academy's stage. The Egyptian Military Academy film was shown, hospitality was offered, shields were exchanged, then the engineering laboratories and the Dome of the Tensing were shown, the Civil Courses and Examinations building was visited, followed by a visit to the gym and squash hall and a visit to Building No. 80, a virtual shooting range, which some students were honored to experience.
The students expressed their happiness with what they saw and their admiration for the organization, discipline, luxury and development of the academy.
The visit was supervised by Dr. Mohamed Gamil Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care, and the students were supervised by Asmaa El-Hadi from Nadia El-Masry from the Leadership Preparation Department.
