Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held the monthly meeting of the University Facilities Committee in the presence of Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Ayman Abdel-Hamid, Engineering Advisor to the President of the University, and Assistant Secretaries-General of the University, to follow up on the implementation status of ongoing projects.

The President of the University began the meeting by following up on the inclusion of university insurance projects against fire and theft risks, and taking the necessary insurance measures through a feasibility study to determine the priorities and the required budget, and contracting with specialized companies to supply and install the systems needed by the facilities, stressing the importance of these projects to secure the university against various risks, as it contributes to protecting lives and property and ensuring the continuation of the educational process smoothly without obstacles. In addition, securing the university is not just a preventive measure, but a basic investment in the future and success of the university, as this insurance achieves an integrated and safe educational and research environment, which ensures the sustainability of academic excellence.
During the meeting, the university president reviewed the executive status of all ongoing projects and the percentage of completion of each project, in addition to a report on the financial appropriations for the projects and the financial extracts of the companies, and a briefing on the developments of the five acres in Sadat City allocated to Menoufia University and the initial measurements of the land, and the latest developments in the projects that will be established on the land allocated for the expansions of Menoufia University in Sadat City, which has an area of ​​200 acres, and the Oncology Institute building at the university hospitals.
